Claims “Progressive” Values in Shameless Scam to Fool Voters
Republican Jesse Armendarez, the endorsed candidate of the San Bernardino County Republican Party in the race for 5th District Supervisor engaged in blatant lies to deceive voters. Attempting to persuade registered democratic voters to support his candidacy, Armendarez in recent campaign mailings, a digital advertising buy, candidate statement and paid phone calls has consistently lied about being a “Progressive” Democrat and being endorsed by local “Teachers.”
“Jesse Armendarez represents the worst qualities of a self-serving, cynical politician…he’s willing to use lies, deception, and cheating to advance his own interests. Armendarez is knowingly lying to voters about being a “Progressive” Democrat when in fact he is a career Republican politician and activist,” said Chris Robles, Chairman of the San Bernardino County Democratic Party.
“The San Bernardino County Democratic Party demands Armendarez immediately and publicly retract his false claims and apologize to the voters he’s mislead,” added Robles, “if Jesse Armendarez so easily lies about this, what else is he lying about?”
Armendarez has been an active member of the Republican Party his entire political career and his endorsement is touted on the San Bernardino County Republican Party’s website: https://sbgop.com/march-primary-2020. His supervisorial campaign is not endorsed by any teacher’s association.
